Dynamic Production, Inc. (“Dynamic”) is a privately held independent oil and gas company primarily engaged in oil and gas exploration, production, and development. Formed as a Texas corporation on January 1, 1968, Dynamic is wholly owned by John H. Harvison and members of his family, all of Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Harvison has owned, managed, financed and/or otherwise been involved in a wide variety of business activities, including banking, real estate, retail gasoline and terminal operations, drilling rigs, international energy ventures and funding technology advancement initiatives. Dynamic, along with its related entities and wholly owned subsidiaries are also directly engaged in oilfield supply and support operations, real estate, mineral processing operations and various other endeavors. Dynamic has participated in over 500 wells and currently serves as operator of a number of producing wells along the Texas Gulf Coast onshore area.
The team at Dynamic have been actively identifying, evaluating and developing oil and gas exploration and production projects along the Texas Gulf Coast and elsewhere since 1968. The company has been able to achieve a high rate of commercial success through the combined use of 2D and 3D seismic technology, and traditional subsurface geology. Dynamic has a full staff of seasoned professionals through which it is able to provide Dynamic and its joint venture partners impressive returns on their investments through a detailed and focused evaluation of each prospect submittal. Dynamic’s engineering personnel are experienced in drilling normal as well as over pressured vertical, deviated and horizontal wells ranging in depths from 3,000’ to 17,000’.
John H. Harvison,
Chairman of the Board
Mr. Harvison graduated from North Texas University with a degree in business administration. He started in the retail gasoline business in 1958, pioneering self-service gasoline in Texas and several other southwestern states. The concept blossomed, and by 1973 led to the acquisition of numerous convenience store operations. The business grew to over 700 outlets in eleven states, and eventually to become a public company. At the same time, John became involved in oil and gas exploration and production with the inception of Dynamic Production, Inc., the ownership and management of an oil refinery, operations of an oilfield supply company, experimentation with biofuels, banking, and has always been an active trader of public securities. Today John is the Chairman of the Board of Dynamic Production, Inc.
John D. Harvison,
John D. Harvison (“Johnny”) is President and is a Principal for Dynamic Production, Inc. and various other affiliated entities. Johnny and his family own Dynamic and have significant interests in over 50 other partnerships and corporations engaged in a variety of business activities, including gasoline/convenience stores, terminal operations, real estate and banking. Johnny has been involved in the day-to-day operation of Dynamic since 1978, and the management thereof since 1990. He directs the investments not only by Dynamic, but by the various associated companies and individuals, which are currently involved in the approximately 300 operated and non-operated properties the company is involved in.
Jonathon G. Weiss,
Vice President of Engineering
Mr. Weiss has served in this capacity since 2002 and has over 35 years experience in the oil and gas business, with expertise encompassing all facets of engineering inclusive of drilling, completion, production and facilities. Jonathan has supervised the drilling and completion of over 150 wells in five states, all onshore. This includes vertical, deviated, HTHP, re-entry and under/over balanced horizontal wells to a maximum depth of 17,000 feet. Jonathan has engineered conventional, dual and tubing less completions for wells up to 15,000 psi BHP, 400 deg F and 7% CO2. Mr. Weiss is co-author of various patents and is a member of SPE, AADE and ASME. He is also integrally involved in a related mineral processing business. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1983.
Gerald H. Graham,
Vice President of Land
Mr. Graham began his career with Dynamic Production, Inc. in 1982. He is involved in most aspects of the day-to-day operation of the company from land contracts administration to landowner and working interest owner relations. He has nearly 40 years of experience in negotiating, planning and funding oil and gas ventures. His responsibilities include land administration, oil and gas lease and joint venture contract negotiation and administration, property sale and purchase contracts, project review and marketing, budget preparation, and acquisition of venture capital. In addition, Gerry is involved in business development of various other non-energy related ventures including mining and mineral processing, and is President of Doxa Energy US, Inc., a subsidiary oil and gas exploration firm.
Mark J. Bronson,
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Bronson has been with the Harvison Companies for nearly 20 years. His diverse experiences allow him to oversee the finance and accounting responsibilities for all of the Harvison Companies, including oil and gas, retail, manufacturing, a call center, agribusiness, banking and mining. Prior to joining the Harvison Companies, Mark owned and operated his own retail company for eight years, for several years was the Controller for an AMEX- traded oilfield pipe manufacturer, and taught as an adjunct professor in the graduate program at Texas Christian University. Mark started in public accounting with Arthur Andersen, including the last five as an audit partner in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He obtained his Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Nebraska in 1970, an MBA from Michigan State University and is a licensed CPA. In addition, Mark is Chief Financial Officer of Petro Victory Energy Corp., a publicly traded oil and gas company engaged in the acquisition and development of oil and gas resources in Brazil.
